Objectives:
To stand on its vision statement through accomplishment of missions in the field of pharmacy.
Advance Education and Training: Providing students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and practical experience to become competent pharmacists.
Continuous Research and Development: Conducting research to advance the field of pharmacy, improve drug efficacy, safety, and delivery systems, as well as contribute to the development of new medications or drug formulations.
Improvement in Patient Care: Ensuring that patients receive the correct medication and dosage, educating them on the safe and effective use of their prescriptions, and providing guidance on potential side effects or interactions with other drugs.
Better promotion of Public Health: Engaging in community outreach and educational programs to raise awareness about healthy living, medication management, and disease prevention.
Quality Manpower & Pharmaceutical Services: Offering services like medication counselling, drug therapy management, vaccination, and health screenings to ensure optimal health outcomes for patients.
Compliance of regulation and total Quality management: Upholding the standards for drug safety and quality, ensuring that pharmaceuticals are appropriately tested, manufactured, and distributed.
Implementation of NEP-2020:
Implementation of NEP-2020 for holistic development of students and facilitating multidisciplinary courses to meet the socital requirements.
Short Term Goals:
- To further improvise results, increase the number of students going for higher studies by clearing various entrance examinations.
- To improve sports, cultural activities and literary performances of students in inter and intra college competitions.
- To encourage and support professional development and welfare of staff.
- To motivate faculty and students towards research and innovation by conducting interactive seminars and workshops with experts from Research, Innovation, Startups and Entrepreneurship.
- To conduct field visits to industries, incubation centres and research organizations.
- Conducting intra and inter institutional competitions in research and innovation.
- Extending financial support to the R & D projects.
- To encourage and guide the students to take up innovation and entrepreneurship as part of their higher education and to motivate the students to do internships at external incubation centres.
- To improve the employability skills of the students.
Long Term Goals:
- To open multidisciplinary courses/program.
- To strengthen R&D, Innovation Cell, Incubation Centre and IPR Cell of the institution by allocating funds in the budgets.
- To fetch grants from different funding agencies.
- To train the students towards Entrepreneurship, Startups, and providing employment to others.
- National & International Patenting of the innovations.
- Publish the research outcomes in UGC recognized / Scopus Indexed Journals.
- Expand the clinical outreach program to serve the community.
- Develop and or implement add-on programs that incorporates the latest advances in pharmaceutical industry and pharmacy practice.
